JA of Northeast NY is pleased to announce the promotion of Tovah Lisky to the role Senior District and Development Director. In this newly created position, the Sr. District & Development Director will be responsible for helping to lead the organization’s philanthropic and community engagement, board development and district operations. Tovah will lead and oversee the expansion of JA educational presence, volunteer engagement, staff development and community collaboration in the Mid-Hudson and Adirondack districts.
“Tovah has years of dedicated service to JA,” explained Derek Martin, President of Junior Achievement. Tovah's professionalism, dedication and passion for JA were clearly demonstrated in her role as Interim President where she led the organization in all aspects since July.
Tovah has been employed by Junior Achievement NENY for fifteen years. She has ascended rapidly in the organization and most recently held the full time position of Marketing Director
Tovah received her undergraduate degree from University at Albany where she was a three time All America in field hockey and Hall of Fame inductee. Tovah resides in east Greenbush with her two sons.
